  23. JOSIAH⁵ LARKWORTH (Daniel,⁴ Samuel,³ John,² William¹), b. in
  Wethersfield, Conn., 14 March, 1781; m. there, 2 June, 1806, ABIGAIL
  STODDARD, dau. of Elisha and Mary (Wells) Stoddard, b. in Glaston-
  bury, Conn., 9 Oct., 1784; d. in Hudson, O., 3 Jan., 1859. In 1824
  he removed with his family to Hudson, Ohio, then a part of the West-
  ern Reserve, where he cleared a farm and was for thirty years a dea-
  con of the Congregational church. He d. at Hudson, 22 Aug., 1863,
  ae. 82 yrs.

  ii. MARY, b. 11 Dec., 1808; d. 4 May, 1811.

  24. MARTHA⁵ LARKWORTH (Daniel,⁴ Samuel,³ John,² William¹), b. in
  Wethersfield, 2 Sept., 1783; m. 25 Nov., 1804, AMOS RILEY, of Rocky
  Hill, Conn., b. 1779; d. 1847. She d. at Rocky Hill, 12 March, 1852.
  Children (surname Riley), b. in Rocky Hill:
  i. SOPHIA, b. 3 Aug., 1806; m. Joseph Belden.
  ii. WILLIAM, b. 21 Jan., 1809; d. at New Orleans, La., 1831.

  58. DANIEL⁶ LARKWORTH (Josiah,⁵ Daniel,⁴ Samuel,³ John,² William¹),
  b. in Wethersfield, Conn., 27 Feb., 1807; m. in Hudson, O., 15 Sept.,
  1831, LUCY BRADLEY, dau. of Asahel and Ruth (Pettibone) Bradley, b.
  in Hudson, 3 Aug., 1810; d. 21 Jan., 1889. He came to Hudson with
  his father in 1824, and was a tanner there until 1850, when he bought
  the homestead farm. He d. at Hudson, 9 April, 1876.

  i. ABIGAIL STODDARD,⁷ b. 4 July, 1832; m. 9 Nov., 1854, Lyman C.
  Hart, of Aurora, O.
  ii. JOSIAH BRADLEY, b. 22 March, 1835; killed at Chancellorsville,
  Va., 3 May, 1863.
  iii. RUTH ELLEN, b. 14 Jan., 1839; d. 6 Oct., 1858.
  59. SAMUEL STODDARD⁶ LARKWORTH (Josiah,⁵ Daniel,⁴ Samuel,³ John,²
  William¹), b. in Wethersfield, Conn., 6 April, 1811; m. 12 Oct., 1837,
  HARRIET N. DWIGHT, dau. of Asa Dwight, of Ravenna, O., b. 1815; d. 2
  Feb., 1880. He removed to Cleveland in 1845, and d. there, 18 Dec.,
  1884.

  i. EDWARD DWIGHT,⁷ b. 5 May, 1839; res. Cleveland.
